My name is Janet Welbourn. I recently purchased an Alpha-Stim for pain control. I have a Rheumatic Disease called Fibromyalgia that causes a wide variety of painful symptoms. The ones that plague me on a daily basis are muscle pain and spasms and migraine headaches. I also have had two back surgeries. One surgery was to remove a ruptured disk and fuse my spine. The second surgery was to remove another disk. I have constant pain and stiffness in my lower back due to these surgeries.

There is not a day that I don't have pain somewhere in my body. I use the Alpha-Stim when I feel a headache coming on and also after I am already in pain. In each instance the Alpha-Stim has completely relieved or considerably lessened the migraine pain. It also seems that the pain does not last as long. I also use it on the areas of muscle pain (usually my low back and neck and shoulders). The Alpha-Stim has enabled me to be more active with a substantial improvement in my pain. I wear it in the car and am now able to sit for an increased amount of time without experiencing an increase in pain. The other thing that I have been very impressed with is the remarkable way that the Alpha-Stim calms down a muscle spasms. There have been several instances that my back and neck have started into severe spasms and I used the Alpha-Stim continuously until the spasm stopped. I have already saved hundreds of dollars in physical therapy costs. I have also cut down on the frequency of Cortisone shots. I am very happy about this because I worry about the long-term side affects of the drug. The Alpha-Stim has really helped me psychologically because I feel more in control of my pain. I would definitely recommend the Alpha-Stim to anyone suffering with chronic pain.
