May 21, 1990 On June 15, 1989, I was leaving work to go to lunch. While waiting to enter into traffic, a car going 50 mph hit me broadside. The wreck caused major damage to my car. The physical damage is yet to be repaired. I suffered neck injuries which have caused severe headaches. Something hit me in the jaw causing extreme pain and loss of use. I was unable to open my mouth and thought I had broken it. I went to a chiropractor for 6 months to treat whiplash. During this time there were very few improvements and I still suffered with headaches. My chiropractor finally referred me to Dr. Michael Lerner, who has diagnosed and is treating me for TMJ. Dr. Lerner introduced me to the Alpha-Stim unit he has in his office. After the first visit and treatment I walked out of his office pain free. Actually the first time since the wreck that I had no headache. The treatment lasted only about 2 hours then the next treatment lasted longer and so forth. Dr. Lerner ordered me a home unit and I use my unit every night for 20 minutes. My Alpha-Stim is a blessing to me. It relieves my headaches, reduces the tension in my shoulders and relaxes me enough to get to sleep. I have also used it to stiffness in my hands.
