I am currently  an attorney in the New Orleans, Louisiana area. I suffered a spinal disc injury in 1981 while on active duty in the United States Army. I underwent successful disc surgery, and did well for approximately 4 years, Unfortunately, I  re-injured the same site, and eventually underwent a second disc surgery, including a spinal fusion, in 1989. Unfortunately, this second surgery left me with severe lower right leg pain, which my doctor believes is the result  either of excessive scar tissue from the surgeries, or the degeneration of another disc above the surgical site.

Although a third surgery was discussed, my doctor knew I would go to any lengths to avoid doing this. In my law practice, I deal with back injuries on a regular basis. I see a general trend of people getting progressively worse with multiple back surgeries. We tried the usual course of physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medications, pain pills, steroid injections, corsets; all to no avail. During a recent visit, he mentioned your product to me. Apparently, a few of his other patients had reported excellent results with the use of the Alpha-Stim CS. He prescribed a unit for me, and I began to use it.

Although the Alpha-Stim has not rid me totally of pain, it has made it considerably more tolerable. I am willing to live with a certain amount of pain, and your product has done this for me.  Neither my doctor or I are exactly sure how the unit operates or works, but this isn't of great concern to me. "Conventional" medicine couldn't help me, and I'm just glad to find something that could.

Sincerely,
Robert E. Thomas
