Currently, the "World's Largest Treasure Hunt" (and least profitable) has me happily re-involved as a licensed  explosives operator and underground driller...Thanks to the Alpha-Stim!

Previously, on May 25, 1990, I was unhappily rear-ended by a drunk driver. Diagnosis: Whiplash. After trying Chiropractic, rest and Physical Therapies, pain and tension remained after 5 months. Range-of-motion showed improvement, through slow-motion testing, however, 2 problems remained. First, prescription pain killers produced drowsiness that did not mix well with explosives. Second, motion-tests at the doctor's offices did not realistically duplicate the stress and strain often found in underground tunneling. Our narrow-tunnel bucket loader demands an operator sit sideways and turn the head to look over the left shoulder while moving forward to load up. Then we look over the right shoulder to make a bumpy exit with the blast debris. Before the accident this didn't bother me at all. After; any bouncing caused sharp to dull pain and  regular neck, shoulder and lower back troubles. Wearing my usual helmet, lamp, respirator, goggles and battery was difficult beyond a couple hours. I wasn't able to use the loader until after using the Alpha-Stim CS.

My subscription to Medical Electronics mentioned this particular TENS unit. After reading more, my background in electronics calibration helped me believe the Alpha-Stim's unique waveform might enhance normal biological cell-frequencies. Rather than block pain I hoped it might stimulate more normal cell functioning (real healing).

The Alpha-Stim has been a real blessing. Today my neck pain is dramatically reduced (I can wear the headgear several  hours and operate the loader). It does not leave me drowsy all day like pain "killers". A few times it has created a welcome, warm glow inside, between both ears, and at the base of the skull. Most curiously though, since using the cerebral stimulation (CS) earclips, something else that had plagued me for several decades simply disappeared. I no longer get motion-sickness while flying! . . .another pleasant surprise.

Sincerely,
Ralph E. Lewis, V.P.
