Re: Alpha-Stim

I have had my Alpha-Stim for a couple of months now --- it has proven a better friend than I could have imagined.

As a fibromyalgic, I suffer poor sleep and concomitant pain most of the time. Just ten minutes an evening wearing the Alpha-Stim ear-clip seemed to improve my sleep to five to six hours per night from the one to three I had been getting. (I believe it elevated my mood somewhat, too.)

This month Alpha-Stim really proved its worth. I had a sudden terrible exacerbation of a number of my symptoms,  leaving me unable to sit, stand, or walk for ten days. It happened on holiday, and I had to get on a plane back home, lying prone. Alpha-Stim kept the unendurable pain at bay, in combination with analgesics. If not for my electronic friend, it would have been the hospital and morphine for me, but as long as I wore my Alpha-Stim, I could at least travel to treatment and manage the pain enough to eat and do the necessaries while lying down. I even  attended my master's class, lying down with my little Alpha-Stim beside met

Thanks for a tool that is of some real help to us fibromyalgics

Yours truly,
Eva van Loon
