I recently began using the Alpha-Stim CS because of chronic lower back pain that I have been living with for over a year. As the owner of a production company, my schedule consists of long hours at my desk for a week or two, followed by travel and high levels of activity for another week or so. Although I work out at the gym every morning, my schedule was taking its toll on my lower back. The symptoms were chronic pain and muscle stiffness, which didn't seem to be alleviated by exercise.

I was somewhat surprised to find that the Alpha-Stim relieved this pain the very first time I used it. I had some doubts that it would work at all, so the feeling of being pain-free was a real shock. I've also found that I can now exercise the muscles around my lower back due to the decrease in pain.

Currently, I am using a combination of TENS and TCES. The subjective results are excellent as the relaxation  from the ear clips seems to enhance the results from the AS-Trodes.
